Shri G.R. Praveen
Shri G.R. Praveen is a disciple of his grandfather, Kalaimamani Sri Pozhakudi P.V. Ganesha Iyer, and the esteemed Kovai Sri K. Sivarama Krishnan. With over 21 years of dedication to the art, he has mesmerized audiences with his soulful and masterful renditions. His extraordinary talent has graced the stages of many prestigious Sabhas for both music and dance, including: The Music Academy, Chennai, The Delhi Tamil Sangam, Bombay NCPA, Rasika Fine Arts, Bharath Kalachar, and Mylapore Fine Arts. Beyond these, he has been fortunate to sing at all the major festivals in India and abroad. His brilliance and unwavering commitment to classical music have earned him numerous accolades, including: Isai Kalaimani from the Coimbatore Government Music College, Sathya Gandharva Gaana Sundaram from Anitha Guha’s Bharathanjali, Gaana Parsthuti Pragnya from Praknaah School of Fine Arts, and Mayura Gaana Kalaimani from Mayura Natyanjali. His artistry continues to inspire and enchant audiences around the world.
Shri G.R. Naveen
Shri G.R. Naveen was born into a family of South Indian Classical Carnatic musicians and set off his musical journey at the very young age, of seven, drawing inspiration from his grandfather, Sangeetha Bhooshanam Pozhakudi Ganesha Iyer, and father Pozhakudi Ramachandran Iyer. Initially, he started learning mrudangam under Vidwan Mannargudi Sakthivel. He learned rudimentary laya and nuances of playing mrudangam from Ambattur Vidwan K. Babu, a well-known accomplished mrudangam artist. As he effortlessly breezed through the initial training, his precocious talent was spotted by his guru Vidwan Ambattur K. Babu, disciple of world-renowned Mrudangam Maestro Guruvayoor Durai. He has performed with famous gurus like Pandhanallur S. Pandiyan, Ms. Archana Narayanamoorthi, Smt. Amudha Dhandapani, Smt. Mruthula Rai, and Vijay Madhavan. He has also performed, as an accompanist, in various vocal and instrumental concerts all over India. He has also composed Jathis and Laya Vinyasa innovatively for dance ballets. He has participated in prestigious dance festivals like Chidambaram Dance Festival, Mayura Nattiyanjali, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Festival, Melattur Bhagavatha Mela Festival, Bragan Naattiyanjali, SPIC Makay, ICCR concerts and Chennai December Dance festivals.
Shri Vivek Krishna
Shri Vivek Krishna hails as one of the most talented and accomplished Karnatik flute artiste of his generation, being trained under Karnataka Kalashree H S Venugopal and Sangeetha Kaalanidhi Neyveli R Santhanagopalan , he is known for his unswerving loyalty to tradition, wise sense of aesthetics, and sincerity in presentation . He has been awarded as an “A” graded artiste of All India Radio, Bangalore . Having 2 decades of vast experience in the field of music and dance . He has made an amazing impact in the field of dance and has flourished as one of the front ranking in demand flutists for barathanatyam performances around the globe . He has the credit of rendering flute support to all the leading bharathanatyam performers around the globe . He has been travelling nook and corners of the world very regularly collaborating with well established Barathanatyam performers and gurus as well as the aspiring young dancers. He and his danseuse wife Aranya Narain are well known for their unique performance: FLUTE N FEET.
Shri. Palakkad Sivaramakrishnan
Shri. Palakkad Sivaramakrishnan had his initial training in music under the guidance of Prof. Chembai Venkataraman and Prof. R. Swaminathan. He started playing the violin at a very young age of 14 years. Currently, he is undergoing advanced training in music under Vidhwan Sri. T. V. Ramanujacharulu. With over 15 years in the professional field, he has accompanied leading vocalists and dancers all over India and abroad. He has also performed for leading Harikatha artists. He has been conferred with the best junior violinist award by the Sri Krishna Gana Sabha, Chennai. He has been an accompanying artist for more than 200 Bharathanatyam Arangetrams. He has won prizes in Calicut University Youth Festival competitions. He has been awarded the Lalgudi Gopala Iyer endowment prize by The Krishna Gana Sabha, Chennai. He was also Awarded “Mayura Yazhisai Ilaval” from Mayura Natyanjali trust, Mayilaaduthurai.
